For safety reasons, the hood of the jacket is detachable. It is fixed to a unique snap button band which can be hidden once the hood is detached from the jacket. Both sides of the hood are elasticated for a better fit, and there is a small brim on the hood for protection against snow and rain.

On the front, there are two zipper pockets with nice contrast details. There are safety breakaway buckles with reflective details on the sleeves which you can click LEGO Wear gloves onto. When you pull the glove, the buckle releases the glove from the sleeve, so that the child does not get stuck on something with the glove. Also, clicking the gloves onto the sleeves prevents them from getting lost on the playground and anywhere else.

The winter jacket for younger and older children is impregnated with Bionic Finish ECO which is a fluorine-free impregnation which improves the dirt-repelling qualities of the jacket. For better visibility in traffic, there are iconic quality reflectors on the chest and at the lower part of the back.

Safety break-away buckle on the sleeve where LEGO Wear gloves or mittens can be fastened. The buckle will release the glove when the glove is pulled, which reduces the risk of accidents. The jacket has 3M Scotchlite reflectors and a detachable hood. No strings in the hood and the neck area.
