WHAT IS SUSTAINABILITY TO US

The concept of sustainability is much discussed these days. KABOOKI values sustainability and sustainable thinking. To us, it is about making as little impact on nature as possible. We and you can do so in many different ways. One of our approaches is in our design. We design subtle, universal basics that are not going out of fashion within months, seasons, or years.

We make great quality clothes that can be worn time and again. We talk about how to take good care of the clothes so that they last longer. And we encourage reusing the clothes. All of this ensures that the garments have a longer lifetime, having an impact on reducing excess clothing production.

REUSE ME

Inside the outerwear pieces, there is a “REUSE ME” label. It shows iconic KABOOKI figures handing clothes over to others, because our clothes are made to be used by more than one child. We want you to hand the clothes down to younger siblings or friends, to sell it pre-loved – just keep the clothes in circulation.

OUR MATERIALS

With more than 25 years of experience in designing quality, durable children’s clothes, we value quality materials. We know how children move and how they use their clothes. We know that no one wants clothes to fade in colour or loose shape after only a few washes.

That is why we carefully select the materials for the KABOOKI clothes. Our products are fluorine-free, produced with no harmful chemicals. And the outerwear pieces are impregnated with Bionic Finish ECO – an environmentally friendly impregnation.

ENGAGEMENT WITH END-USERS

Our design approach is making essentials that our end-users actually need. We put resources into understanding our customer with our Customer Feedback Lab. By engaging with and understanding the customer’s needs, we do our part to minimise excess clothing production.
